The visual representation of our maps has made this routing process extremely efficient, allowing operators to field up to 8 000 emergency calls per hour at peak times. An effective GIS-based computer-aided dispatch system allows public safety personnel and call centre operators to plan for emergency responses, determine mitigation priorities, and analyze historical events with unprecedented accuracy.
